About Day Camp Kici Yapi

 


Your child can have an amazing outdoor experience this summer and sleep at home, too.
 
Camp Kici Yapi jam-packs every week with exciting, structured activities for both new and returning campers. Nature’s beauty is all around to explore at Camp Kici Yapi. The camp is spread out over 80 acres of spectacular wooded land located in Prior Lake.

Each day campers, ages 4 through 14, participate in small-group structured activities with other campers in their age group. They learn new skills and build self-esteem while being guided by the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. To mark their camp accomplishments and treasured experiences, every camper is awarded special beads to display in the camper’s unique style.
 
The 50-foot climbing tower (ages 8+) and challenge course add to the excitement! The Giant Slide is a big hit with campers!

A new Gaga Pit has been added. Gaga is an exciting version of dodgeball that requires players to hit the ball with their hand or fist (rather than catching & throwing) below the waist of other players. The pit allows for containing the game as well as allowing wall shots. It’s really (really) fun!

Kici Yapi is well known for our outstanding Horse Campfeaturing 52 horses and both trail and ring riding. Other specialty camps are listed below. See YOU at Camp Kici Yapi!
