Gym Monitor Volunteer
Have fun in the gym! Supervise gym activities and model your great customer service skills. Be a part of creating a safe, fun, positive environment for Y members in our gyms. Great, fun environment!
Kids Stuff Volunteer
Be a Kids Stuff Volunteer for the Y! Kids Stuff is a drop-off childcare program for members while they work out, with great activities that develop spirit, mind and body for kids. You will help our staff team with programs, interacting with kids, and helping us to ensure a positive, nurturing environment. If you love activity, arts and crafts and want to feel like a kid again, this opportunity is for you!
Member Services Volunteer
If you know what great customer service looks and feels like, this volunteer opportunity is for you! As a Member Services volunteer, you will help our service and sales teams provide excellent service to all our Y members, guests and program participants.
Healthy Kids Program Volunteer
The Healthy Kids after-school program strives to get youth active and healthy by targeting childhood obesity, inactivity, and poor eating habits among youth. You can make a difference in the lives of young people by volunteering in this program, and have fun while you do it! You will help to create and implement lesson plans lead team games that promote healthy living for youth.
Swim Instructor Aid Volunteer
Do you enjoy the water? This may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! You will assist our swim instructors in providing group lessons following the YMCA of the USA Aquatics and Swim Lessons guidelines and standards. Y swim lessons are unique, in that they incorporate our values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. As you assist our instructors, you will model your great service and safety skills, playing key role in a positive learning experience.
Youth Development Volunteer
You can make a difference in the lives of young people by volunteering to work with youth in your community! You will help our staff team with programs, interacting with youth and helping us to ensure a positive, nurturing environment. You will be responsible for assisting in after school, summer or Interactive Play Center (IPC) youth development programs. This includes providing excellent customer service in a safe, enjoyable, and positive atmosphere that promotes member and program participant safety and satisfaction in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
Youth Sports Volunteer
You can make a difference in the lives of young people by volunteering to work with youth in your community! We are looking for a positive role model to plan and implement YMCA Youth Sports practice sessions and coach games. If you thrive in an active environment and can relate to children and adults, this opportunity is for you!
Community & Special Events
Throughout the year YMCA branches and camps need volunteers for special events. These one-time activities include events such as Breakfasts with Santa, Easter Egg Hunts, Camp Rally Day, or Harvest Festival.
