Memorial Day Work Weekend

Volunteers provide valuable labor and expertise to maintain and upgrade camp facilities. The staff and du Nord Buildings and Grounds Committee invites you to participate in this fun event!
This is the weekend where volunteers perform projects to help transition the camp from winter to summer programs. Plan on fun work projects, hearty meals, evening sauna and good conversation.
- Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis.
- Volunteers arrive after 4 p.m. on Thursday, or any time on Friday, and depart by 1 p.m. on Sunday.
- Cabins are assigned prior to the weekend.
Suggested Donations: $40 for ages 13 years and older; $30 for ages 12 years and younger. ($0 for 3 and under) The suggested donation for this great weekend is for food only. Call 612-465-0568 to register or mail/fax in a registration form.

Trees and Trails Weekend
October 12-14, 2012Land stewardship is the emphasis for this volunteer experience. Preparing the land in which new trees can flourish, clearing trails of brush and planting trees is the focus of this weekend. The results are not immediate, but the long-term benefits are enjoyed by many.
