Our Annual Y Partners Campaign provides essential financial resources for camp. The funds raised help us:

- Purchase essential program equipment and supplies
- Provide quality training programs for camp staff

The YMCA is able to process your gift immediately online, or by check, deferred billing, monthly credit card billing, EFT, and through donation of securities. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Your gift is fully tax-deductible.
Endowment Fund
Throughout du Nord's 50 years, one enduring hallmark has been excellence. du Nord offers extraordinary experiences for families. However, one challenge du Nord faces going forward is maintaining the unparalleled quality of its programs, staff, and facilities while insuring financial accessibility for its campers, participants.
A key strategy for meeting this challenge is to grow du Nord’s Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund provides annual income to support Camp du Nord’s programs and operations. As costs increase, earnings from the endowment become increasingly important for providing experiences of the very highest quality, for being inclusive of all participants who are interested, and for the camp’s overall financial well-being.
Endowment income provides supplemental support for Camp du Nord and relieves the pressure to substantially raise fees. One of the camp’s key goals is to create a more stable and sustainable financial model that relies much less heavily upon camper and participant fees so that:
- All families, regardless of financial resources, are able to participate
- Unpredictable and temporary increases in expenses have a less dramatic impact upon camper fees
- Costs associated with going to camp are manageable for more families.
More than 30 years ago, several of du Nord’s visionary volunteer leaders established the camp's Endowment Fund. Through the generosity of many devoted givers, the Fund has provided approximately 3% of the camp’s operating budget.
Much more important than the figures however, du Nord's Endowment Fund has helped establish Camp du Nord as one of the family camps in the nation offering extraordinary, enriching experiences for nearly 2,200 family members each summer and roughly 1,500 families each year in fall, winter and spring.
A $5 million Endowment Fund will assist greatly in making du Nord’s programs accessible to the widest range of campers and participants, recruiting and training stellar staff, and offering quality equipment and distinctive facilities in a serene, beautiful setting.
Heritage Club
The YMCA recognizes Camp du Nord endowment donors through the Camp du Nord Heritage Family. Heritage Family members have committed to providing resources that will continue Camp du Nord’s great tradition of strengthening families through exceptional programs and experiences in a natural setting.
