Activities
Each week is loaded with fun and learning opportunities. Families are encouraged to participate in the programs and campers have opportunities to participate in campfires by partaking in skits, songs or storytelling. You are welcome to bring along musical instruments and share your talents!
- Water Activities: Swimming, Sailing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Paddle Boards, Fishing, Day trips to the Boundary Waters
- Nature: Cookouts, Hiking, Campfires, Saunas, Environmental Programs, Overnight Camping
- Fun and Games: Volleyball, Arts and Crafts, Storytelling, Sing-alongs, Talent Share Night We also offer age-appropriate Children's Age Groups and Adult Age Groups so everyone in the family has some time with peers. Or parents can simply enjoy some alone time.
Daily Summer Schedule
- 7:45 a.m. - Polar Bear Swim (optional and invigorating)
- 8:30 a.m. - Breakfast*
- 9:15 a.m. - Junior Naturalist Programs
- 10:00 a.m. - Age Groups (Age-specific programs led by staff)
- 1:00 p.m. - Lunch*
- 2 - 4:00 p.m. - Planned Afternoon Activities
- 5:30 p.m. - Dinner*
- Evenings - Options include campfires, saunas, auction, and sing-alongs.
*Meals are available for an extra fee and must be reserved in advance of your arrival.
Planned Afternoon Activities
Options include: swimming, lounging on the beach, nature hikes, canoeing, sailing and family crafts. Lifeguards are on watch in beach and in boating areas.
- The Jr. Naturalist Program runs Monday – Friday mornings.
- Sailing is offered Monday - Thursday, weather permitting.
- Our Family Triathlon is held on Thursday afternoons from 2-4 pm,
and includes water front games. - The Night Hike to Old Baldy takes place on Thursday evenings.
- Adult sauna (mixed gender) is held on Wednesday evenings.
- Friday is Family Fun Day including an all-camp lunch the famed Counselor Hunt.
Sample Evening Schedule:
- Monday - Sing-Along and S'mores night at Northland and Pine Point Village.
- Tuesday - Northwoods presentation in Morning Glory at Pine Pointe.
- Wednesday - Family Game Night at Pine Pointe and du Nord Village.
- Thursday - Live Action at the Burntside Stage in du Nord Village.
- Friday - Closing Celebration and Talent Share.
