Executive Director - Bob Gagner
Bob has over 30 years of experience as a Camp Director. As he says, “Camp was very important to me growing up. I loved camp as a kid and I just never stopped.” With years as a Cabin Counselor, Aquatics Director, Program Director and Camp Director at overnight camps, day camps, a family camp and an environmental education center, Bob understands all areas of camp operation.
He has served on the Board of the American Camping Association and as its Vice President. He is a recipient of the ACA’s Sue Tinker Award for Outstanding Leadership in Camping. As a parent of two children who went to camp for many years, Bob also has a great understanding of the needs of kids, the concerns of parents and the extremely important role that he and his camp staff have in assuring the physical and emotional safety of all campers.
