Executive Director - Kerry Pioske
“I was on summer staff at Camp Ihduhapi in 1993 – 1994. Until October 2009, I was a full time staff member at the Ridgedale YMCA working with a variety of programs including Day Camp Christmas Tree, Kids Stuff and Membership. Camp is a perfect fit for me and I am ready to help your child have a positive experience.
I am a mother of three young children. They are excited to attend camp as well. I live with my husband and family in Minnetrista.”
Camp Program Director - Joey Cottew
“I started as a camper at Camp Ihduhapi in 1987. I grew up coming to Ihduhapi as a “Superkid” through the American Lung Association. Later I attended the Camp Ihduhapi Leadership programs as a teen and worked on Summer Staff from 1995 – 1999.
I attended St. John’s University in Minnesota and have a degree in Communication. I love being at Ihduhapi and watching the kids grow in to individuals and seeing them experience new things. I also love working with the college-aged Summer Staff and mentoring them while working with the campers.
I live in Minneapolis and have a Basset Hound named Boone, an English Springer Spaniel named Charley, and two cats. In my time off I enjoy canoeing, camping, traveling, reading, and sporting events.”
Camp Program Coordinator - Devin Hanson
"I began my time at camp at YMCA Camp Miller as a camper and attended YMCA Camp Warren for two summers. I worked on Summer Staff at Camp Warren ('97-'03) and Camp Icaghowan ('04). In 2005 I began working full time at Camp Warren as the Assistant Camp Director. I made the move to Camp Ihduhapi in January of 2010 and became the Day Camp Director and Conference Coordinator.
I attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and obtained a degree in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Studies. I enjoy working at camp because it gives me the opportunity to help people become more aware of the world around them.
I live in Crystal with my husband and two daughters. We have two cats and a black lab named Duke. I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors and spending as much time as possible with my beautiful daughters."
Building Superintendent - Eric Wobschall
“I started going to YMCA Day Camp Manitou as a kid. I worked there as a counselor and later as the Caretaker. I have also worked in area YMCAs in the Maintenance department.
I enjoy working a Camp Ihduhapi. Everyday there is something new to experience and I get to be outside. I like helping the kids and conference participants all year have a fun and safe time at camp.
I live in Buffalo, MN and when I am not at camp I enjoy refurbishing my home, spending time outdoors, the MN Twins and riding my motorcycle. I also have a Black Lab mix named Hunter.”
