There’s Snow Place Like Home! – January 11
Have you ever wondered where the myth of Jack Frost comes from? Or why snow doesn’t melt as fast as ice? Or how a small mouse can survive our bitter cold winter? We will guide your investigation of these winter mysteries with snow experiments, cultural exploration, and outdoor observations.
The Fur Trade – February 8
Travel back in time to the Fur Trade to immerse yourself in Native American and Voyageur culture. You’ll get to try your hand at outdoor cooking, starting fires with flint and steel, hatchet throwing, story-telling and much more.
Sugar Camp – March 7-9
Join us to celebrate the maple sap harvest during this three-day retreat! We will cater to all ages with story-telling, music, art, culture, and environmental exploration. You’ll be involved in the whole sugar bush process from identifying and tapping maple trees to boiling and eating the syrup. Families stay in cozy cabins and eat in our dining hall.
