First Mates
Entering Grades 7 & 8
The First Mate program is designed to give an introduction to basic sailing skills and techniques. First Mates spend a portion of each day receiving sailing instruction on the St. Croix River, and the rest of their time participating in traditional camp activities.

Schooners
Entering Grades 9 & 10
The Schooner camp gives older campers an introduction to sailing on the St. Croix River. Schooners receive daily ground and water instruction in basic sailing skills and techniques, as well as boat maintenance and care. Schooners participate in traditional in-camp activities when not on the water.

Windjammers
Entering Grades 9 & 10
Windjammers spend most of their time practicing on the water reviewing sailing skills on a variety of different boats. The highlight of the Windjammer program is a three-day overnight camping trip sailing on the St. Croix River! Windjammers should arrive at camp with some basic sailing skills. 2 week session with 3 days spent on trail.

Lake Superior Expeditions
Join us for one of our amazing advanced sailing or kayaking camps where we explore Lake Superior! All Lake Superior Expeditions are led by chartered and experienced sailing and kayaking staff.
Vagabonds
Entering Grades 7 & 8
Vagabonds experience a full range of water adventure, with a mix of kayaking and sailing. Campers begin with reviewing basic sailing and kayaking skills, planning for their trip, and participating in some traditional camp activities. Campers will then travel to Lake Superior where they will practice the skills they learned at camp with three days of sea kayaking and three days of sailing in the beautiful Apostle Islands National Lake Shore. 2 week session with 6 days spent on trail, 3 days sea kayaking and 3 days sailing.

Islanders
Entering Grades 9 - 11
Campers spend five days and four nights aboard a beautiful sailboat on Lake Superior! While sailing through the Apostle Islands National Lake Shore, campers will plot the course, raise the sails, take the helm, cook meals, and maintain the vessel under the direction of the boat's U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain and First Mate. Participants also spend time at camp reviewing sailing skills and participating in traditional camp activities. 2 week session with 5 days spent on trail.
