The great outdoors is yours when you choose a Peak Adventure Camp week filled with outdoor adventures and lasting memories. Meet new friends and learn new skills as you enjoy hiking, outdoor cooking, campfires, and swimming. At Peak Adventure Camp, you’ll white water raft the St. Louis River in Duluth or camp and explore Devils Lake in Wisconsin.
White Water Rafting
- Offered June 19 - 21 and June 26 - 28
On Tuesday, we depart Camp Christmas Tree and travel to Duluth to ride the wild rapids of the St. Louis River. That night, we’ll set up camp and fix dinner over a fire. Then, we’ll hike, swim and settle in for two nights of camping on the North Shore.
The adventure ends on Thursday when we will return to Camp Christmas Tree in time to ride the bus home.
Wisconsin Dell’s Outdoor Adventure
- Offered July 10 - 12 and July 24 - 26
Fully experience the great outdoors by tent camping for two nights at Devils Lake State Park in Baraboo, WI.
On Tuesday, we leave Day Camp Christmas Tree for Devils Lake State Park, where we will set up camp for the night. Wednesday is spent at a water park in the WI Dells. We’ll explore the park and enjoy group games, hike, swim and end with a blazing campfire and a hearty meal.
On Thursday, we will return to Camp Christmas Tree in time to ride the bus home.
North Shore
- Offered July 17 - 19 and July 31 - August 2
This 3-day, 2-night trip along the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior is a memory in the making. We will enjoy scenic stops including Alpine Sliding at Lutsen Ski Resort, tour Split Rock Lighthouse plus other activities in Duluth. Our group will camp overnight at Temperance River State Park or Gooseberry Falls State Park. Your adventuresome camper will love this getaway.
