Arts and Crafts Camp

Let your imagination soar as you discover your artistic side in our Arts and Crafts Camp! Express yourself through a variety of projects that may include: clay sculpture, sketching, story telling with cartoons or puppets, watercolors or paints, nature collage, papier maché, picture frames, candle holders, necklaces and bracelets, leather craft, candle making, mural painting, and much more! Create your very own masterpieces that you can take home to enjoy!
Dragons, Fairies and Princesses Camp
- Ages 6 years - Entering grade 3 in fall 2012
- Weeks of June 18; July 16; August 20
- Y Members: $185 per week

Dragons, fairies, and princesses is a magical fairy tale-themed arts and crafts camp! Campers can let their imaginations soar as they make dragon and fairy wings, prince and princess crowns, wands, jewels, fairy tale puppets, costumes and more. Campers will also enjoy a special “tea party!”
Planes, Trains & Automobiles Camp
- Ages 6 years - Entering grade 3 in fall 2012 | Week of July 16
- Entering grades 4 - 6 in fall 2012 | Weeks of June 18; July 30

Design, build and race your own miniature pinewood derby cars, rockets, milk carton boats, and other modes of transportation!
Cheer Camp
- Ages 6 - Entering grade 3 in fall 2012
- Week of August 6
- Y Members: $185 per week
- Program Participants: $212 per week
Give me a “Y!” Learn the foundations of cheer from a skilled cheer coach, including basic cheer counts, steps, jumps, moves and group synchronization. Campers will break into small groups to create, practice and perform their routines for Family Night.
Theater Camp
- Entering grades 4 - 6 in fall 2012
- Week of June 25
- Y Members: $225 per week
- Program Participants: $252 per week
Free your imagination and develop improvisational skills! At Theater Camp, campers will explore the world of theater during games, acting exercises, writing or illustrating a story, learning about stage make-up, designing costumes, and even performing for an audience! Come feel your self-esteem soar this summer at Theater Camp!
Digital Photography Camp
- Entering grades 4 - 6
- Week of July 16
- Y Members: $225 per week
- Program Participants: $252 per week
Say Cheese! Campers will learn the basics of lighting and composition and be able to experiment with both portrait and landscape photography. Bring a digital camera and be ready to focus on this terrific art form.
