Shoreview YMCA
The Shoreview YMCA provides Before and After Care for children who attend Mounds View School District 621 Elementary Schools, and Harambee Elementary School. For your convenience, our program is located in your child’s school. Safety is our top priority. Parents/guardians sign their children into the program in the morning and students walk to class when school starts. In the afternoon, students walk from class to the School Age Care Program and parents/guardians must sign them out at pick up time.

Monday – Friday
Before School Care: 6:30 a.m. – School Start or Kindergarten Care
After School Care: School End or Kindergarten Care – 6:00 p.m.
School Release Days & Holiday Care: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Y School Age Care will be closed on the following days: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day following, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Memorial Day.
Program Costs:
A “session” is defined as either before school or after school. The 3-session minimum can be reached by combining a.m. and/or p.m. sessions.

8 sessions: $82.00
9 sessions: $92.25

Before & After Kindergarten Care
Our Kindergarten Care program is designed to provide children in half-day kindergarten a safe, supervised, and entertaining recreational play environment before and after school. We create a positive environment through a large variety of age-appropriate activities, well-trained quality staff, and functional and spacious facilities. There is a 3-session minimum for this program.

Note: A.M. Kindergartners needing care from 6:30 a.m. until school starts will be dropped off at the school of Kindergarten attendance. If care is needed after A.M. Kindergarten, the child will be bussed to Pinewood or Pike Lake for P.M. Care. Kindergartners needing care prior to the start of P.M. Kindergarten will be dropped off at Pinewood or Pike Lake for care. The child will be bussed to the school of kindergarten attendance. If care is needed after P.M. Kindergarten, the child will attend P.M. Care at school of Kindergarten attendance.
Kindergarten Care Hours:
Morning Care: School Day Start – PM Kindergarten Start
Afternoon Care: End of AM Kindergarten – School Day End
