River Valley YMCA in Prior Lake
The River Valley YMCA provides Before and After Care for children who attend Shakopee Area Catholic School (SACS). For your convenience, our before and after school care program is located at Shakopee Area Catholic School. Safety is our top priority. Parents/guardians sign their children into the program in the morning and students walk to class when school starts. In the afternoon, students walk from class to the School Age Care Program and parents/guardians must sign them out at pick up time.

School Release Days are paid in full at time of registration online.
Program Hours:
Monday - Friday
Before School Care: 6:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
After School Care: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
School Release Days and Holiday Care: 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Y School Age Care will be closed on the following days: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day following, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Memorial Day.
Program Cost- Before and After School Sessions:
A “session” is defined as either before school or after school. The 3-session minimum can be reached by combining a.m. and/or p.m. sessions.
3 sessions: $31.50
4 sessions: $42.00
5 sessions: $52.50
6 sessions: $63.00
7 sessions: $73.50
8 sessions: $84.00
9 sessions: $94.50
10 sessions: $105.00
Preschool Before & After Care
Program Hours:
Monday - Friday
Before School Care: 6:30 a.m. – Start of Preschool
After School Care: End of Preschool – 6:00 p.m.
SACS Preschool Hours:
Full Day Preschool: 8:45 a.m.– 4 p.m.
Before-Care Half Day A.M.: 8:45 a.m.– noon (no care available 12-4 p.m.)
After-Care Half Day P.M.: noon – 3:15 p.m. (no care available 8:45 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
No School Release Day Care or Holiday Care offered for Preschool.
