Summer Programs

In YMCA Summer Programs, days are filled with adventure and discovery activities that outpace regular day care options. Summer Programs fit perfectly into a parent’s work day and allow the flexibility you need.

From full weeks to a few days, our Summer Programs add enrichment to your child’s summer and balance to your family life.

Choose from preschool and school age programs.

  • Summer Power Preschool — Days filled with activities to help prepare kids for school years
  • Summer Uproar — High-spirited adventures and growth opportunities for youth
  • Teen Scene — A fully inclusive program for individuals with physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional and/or multiple disabilities
  • Day Camp Kumalya - Traditional day camp held at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in Lake Elmo. Free bussing available from Oakdale and Woodbury.

Our children look forward to the Y summer program every week.  They meet new friends, go on fantastic field trips, and participate in group activities where they are learning, even when they don't know it.  The best part is, I don't have to worry about my kids while I'm at work -  I know my kids are safe having positive interactions with peers, and not at home watching television.
