Programs

Youth Intervention Services provide a direct link to services in the community for housing, employment, education and for support services, with Y staff providing the connection back to the youth, their families, the schools, and connecting youth into positive and supportive peer groups.

We are currently comprised of 8 programs and 35 staff, working with a variety of youth and their families in Hennepin and Anoka County. Over 1,500 duplicated youth are being supported by programs and services created and administered by YMCA Intervention staff.

If you are in need of assistance, please contact our Crisis Line: 763-493-3052.

Second Change Through Mentoring

Abby and the YMCA have helped me become someone I never thought I could be.  When I had no hope it seemed that she always knew what to do.  They have helped me find a job, pay for my apartment and so much more.  All it took was one phone call to Abby.  Thank you so much for all you have done for me since November, I will always have a place for you and your program in my heart.
