Anoka County Youth Program provides a central contact for youth in Anoka County and provides short-term crisis intervention, mediation services and resources. Anoka County Youth Program is for youth (and their families) who are experiencing, or at risk for becoming, runaway, homeless, or precariously housed.
The Y gets involved during times of crisis with the intent of reuniting families and avoiding out-of-home placements of youth who have requested intervention. We provide these services on the street, in schools, or wherever youth and/or families are comfortable meeting with a staff. A phone line is available, year round, and all calls are responded to by trained Y staff.
