Program and Policy Volunteers

The Y is a cause-driven nonprofit organization committed to three areas of focus:  youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

And it’s only through the generosity of others that we are able to give back to the communities we serve.

Every year, thousands of volunteers make it possible for the Y to change the lives of kids, teens, adults and seniors right here in our community.

Volunteers contribute their time, talent and resources to help us mentor kids, coach sports, teach swim lessons, send kids to camp, improve our facilities and much more. When you volunteer at the Y, you take an active role in bringing about meaningful, enduring change in your own community.

Our spirit, mind and body-focused programs and services include:

  • Fitness and Wellness classes for kids, adults and seniors
  • Day and Overnight Camps
  • Child and School-Age Care Centers
  • Before- and After-School Care
  • Youth Development and Leadership Programs
  • Youth, Family and Community Events

You can also help with our efforts to make Y programs and services available to those who most need them by being a part of our Y Partners annual support campaign.
