When regular exercise is painful because of aching joints, water exercise can keep you in shape. Exercising in water eliminates much of the joint and muscle pain. This low-impact water workout focuses on cardiovascular training, muscle toning, flexibility and coordination. The water supports the weight of the body and makes exercising easier. Equipment is used to add resistance and strength training.
Classes take place in our heated indoor pools. We begin with warm-up stretching exercises and move into activities such as jumping jacks, hopping, walking, jogging, running and other movements typical of strength training. We end our session with cool-down exercises.
New to class? Arrive a little early so our instructor can give you some pointers.
