Spinning is a heart rate-based indoor cycling class. Spinning utilizes strength, interval, endurance, recovery and race day class formats to provide a wide range of fitness benefits. Everyone will benefit from Spinning and participants are encouraged to utilize Heart Rate Monitors and Rate of Perceived Exertion to personalize the class to suit their individual fitness goals. Spinning is a great class for people using the New Leaf Metabolic Training system!
Classes are held in our fitness studio, with dynamic music that creates an energized atmosphere. Positions include: seated with hands resting on the center of the handle bars, standing with hands lightly on the handle bars and standing with the body extended over the handles. Classes warm up first, then move to upbeat cadences, sprints, and climbs and end with a cool-down.
