Family Dance

FREE for Members

  • Level: All
  • Drop-in Class
  • No registration required
  • Kids ages 10 – 14 may attend with a parent or guardian
  • Teens age 15+ may attend unaccompanied by an adult

Combine the thrill and fun of dancing with the energy of aerobics and improve your family’s level of fitness at the same time. Family Dance leads you through a wide variety of medium and low impact moves and dance styles. Sweat to the sweet sounds of high-energy, blood-pumping music and have great family fun!

A Typical Class

Your instructor will teach your family turns and moves of a variety of dance styles. Some may even be a bit familiar! You’ll learn steps set to an aerobic beat and follow your instructor. Some dance routines will call for arm movements, too.

Attire and What to Bring

  • Come to class dressed and ready to move your body
  • Loose-fitting, functional clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow
  • Proper gym shoes, comfortable fit, good stability
  • Water, towel
