A New Leaf Metabolic Assessment is like an owner’s manual for your body. The results reveal how often, how long and how hard you need to exercise to achieve the greatest fat-burning effect for your effort. You really can train your body to burn fat more effectively with the help of one of our Personal Trainers.

What to Expect

You’ll meet with a Personal Trainer who will ask you lifestyle questions and measure your resting metabolic rate (RMR). Then you’ll measure your metabolic rate during exercise. You’ll learn how many calories your body burns while exercising, whether those calories come mainly from fat, carbs, or a combination of both, and the zone where you burn calories most efficiently.

Take the First Step

Find a trainer at your Y. Select your Location and go to Personal Training. You can also contact a Personal Trainer via email or call Member Services at your Y for more information.

Members receive a free Fitness Consultation and a follow-up Fitness Checkpoint. Simply visit Member Services or contact a Personal Trainer to schedule.
