Adult Lessons

  • Learn to increase your comfort around water and then work on specific strokes and developing them.
  • Ages 18+.

Basic Water Adjustment—For adults who are uncomfortable around water. The goal is water acclimatization in a safe environment.

Stroke Development—Adults must have completed Basic Water Adjustment or perform equivalent skills. This class focuses on development of basic swim strokes and introduces swimmers to more advanced strokes.

Stroke Technique – Front & Back Crawl—This class concentrates on skills needed to build a fluid crawl stroke. Adults must have completed Stroke Development or perform equivalent skills.

Stroke Technique – Breaststroke, Sidestroke, Elementary Backstroke—This class concentrates on increasing the performance of the breaststroke, sidestroke and elementary backstroke. Participants will build endurance through techniques and drills. Adults must have completed Stroke Development or perform equivalent skills.

Fitness Swimming - This class is for swimmers who wish to refine and improve their breaststroke, sidestroke, and elementary backstroke and want to use swimming for exercise

Water Triathlon Training - Train for the water leg of a triathlon through interval training and stroke development.

Water Exercise - Join our nationally-certified instructors in the pool for a fun and challenging workout. Work at your own ability level with the encouragement from friendly, welcoming classmates.
