On April 16, 2009 the University YMCA was one of two organizations awarded the 2008 University of Minnesota Tony Diggs Excellence Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Registered Student Organization. This award is given by the Student Unions and Activities Office at the U of M to recognize student groups demonstrating significant success and development in following the mission and goals of their group.  There are 700 student groups on campus, so this is a very impressive honor and a great testament to the achievement of our student leaders and their commitment to serving the U of M and greater community!
