Preschool Adventures#

Half-day weekly sessions for children ages 3 – 5 years who have not yet attended Kindergarten.*

Offered July 12 – August 20

5 days/week: $75

One-time, non-refundable registration fee of $50 per child. Weekly fee includes a snack, swimming at the YMCA, and all program supplies.

Hours: 9 a.m. – Noon*
*Does not include Extended Care

Preschoolers will make friends and have fun as they participate in a variety of small-group activities including arts and crafts, music and movement, gym and playground games, singing songs, story time and more. Highlights include weekly themes in which your child will learn about topics such as Festival of Nations, Circus Life, Lumber Jacks and High Flyers. Your child will also learn to follow directions, interact with other children, and build confidence during their exciting new adventures!

*Children must be potty trained to participate in this program.

Summer Power#

Fascinating adventures in a safe, quality childcare program.

Entering grades K – 5 in fall 2010

June 14 – September 3, Monday – Friday

Program Hours: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Drop-off: 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Pick-up: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Summer Power is a super-lively, full-day enrichment program focused on quality, small group, age-appropriate activities. Kids stay motivated, entertained and are encouraged to make choices and exercise independent thinking. Each week is packed with an amazing variety of activities including multiple field trips to exciting places plus inviting special interest clubs and unique programs like water games and cooking projects. Kids will learn new things while they make new friends.

Wonderful outdoor and indoor spaces at the Y give kids a wide variety of options. They’ll enjoy pools, splash decks, gyms, playgrounds and more.

No two weeks are alike! Intriguing weekly themes guide engaging activities and give kids topics to look forward to. Trained YMCA staff provides supervision, care and guidance for participants in this unrivaled summer program. It’s honest-to-goodness fun!

Customize your child’s summer to fit the needs of your family. Enroll your child for the whole summer, choose a few weeks, or mix it up even more with full and partial weeks.

Uproar#

High-spirited adventures result in growth experiences for youth.

For preteens and teens entering grades 6 – 8 in fall, 2010

Summer Uproar is a full-day, experience-based enrichment program that encourages older kids to explore their ever-expanding world, increase understanding, build independence and have a boatload of fun. Uproar brings a multitude of character development experiences to kids through community involvement, leadership activities, team building exercises, goal setting and more! Days are filled with super-fun field trips, outings to amusement and water parks, and fun group activities that exercise the body, challenge the mind and nurture the spirit of our youth.

Choose from 3-, 4- or 5-day options.
$180 – 5 days/wk.
$148 – 4 days/wk.
$120 – 3 days/wk.
