Summer Power Preschool #

Full-day weekly sessions for children ages 3 – 5 years who have not yet attended Kindergarten.

Offered June 14 – September 3

5 days per week (M-F): $185
3 days per week (MWF): $114
2 days per week (T&TH): $78

One-time, non-refundable registration fee of $50 per child.

Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Qualified teachers lead 3-, 4-, or 5-year-old children in activities that will help prepare them for their school years. Your child will learn to write, count, sit and listen, follow directions, interact with other children, recognize and express feelings, and use words to solve conflict. They will also make friends and have fun as they sing songs, participate in arts and crafts, nature studies and much more. Variable schedules offered, including 2-, 3-, or 5-day options. Sign up on a week-by-week basis.

Y Summer Sports #

For participants entering grades 1 – 8 in fall, 2010
Fee: $185 per week
Offered June 14 – September 3

Summer Sports is a safe, fun, low-competitive program designed to build teamwork, sports skills, and self-esteem. If you can’t decide which week to come, choose our Sports Sampler week where you can participate in all the sports! Each clinic includes a sports related field trip. At the end of the week, show off your skills in a fun scrimmage with other YMCAs! Summer Sports still held at the YMCA in White Bear.

Program Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Includes Before and After Care 6:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. and 4 - 6 p.m.

*Waiver form must be signed prior to participation.

**Must be able to swim front crawl 25 yards without stopping. Participant will be swimming all day.
Level required: Minnow/Advanced Beginner 2.

YMCA • Lynx • Timberwolves • National Basketball Academy Clinic

Come learn Basketball from the best! The Lynx, Timberwolves, National Basketball Academy and the YMCA are proud to offer this high quality clinic that will focus on learning all about basketball. Whether you are just beginning or an experienced player, this clinic is designed to improve the skill level of any basketball player.

Fee includes a basketball, t-shirt, ticket to a Lynx game and instruction by the National Basketball Academy.

Please bring a water bottle.

Summer Uproar#

High-spirited adventures result in growth experiences for youth.

Preteens and teens entering grades 5 – 9 in fall, 2010
June 14 – September 3, Monday – Friday
Program Hours: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Drop-off: 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Pick-up: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Summer Uproar is a full-day, experience-based enrichment program that encourages older kids to explore their ever-expanding world, increase understanding, build independence and have a boatload of fun. Uproar brings a multitude of character development experiences to kids through community involvement, leadership activities, team building exercises, goal setting and more! Days are filled with super field trips, outings to amusement and water parks, and fun group activities that exercise the body, challenge the mind and nurture the spirit of our youth.

Choose from 3-, 4- or 5-day options.
$190 – 5 days per week
$165 – 4 days per week
$130 – 3 days per week
Registration Fee – $50 per child, one-time, non-refundable fee. Weekly fee includes all field trip admissions, open swimming, program t-shirt and program supplies.
