Y-Scholars

Promoting the Benefits of College to Minneapolis Students.
 

Y-Scholars seeks to promote and prepare middle and high school students for higher education.  Each week we create fun and engaging curriculum to educate students on the available options for post-secondary education along with encouraging team-building and leadership skills.  We also take monthly field trips to area colleges and universities to give our students an idea of what college might be like. 

Y-Scholars volunteers are active and energetic college students who wish to share their experience with others.  Coordinators of the Y-Scholars program can be contacted at y-scholars@ymcampls.org or 612-676-3783.
