I have been a Certified Personal Trainer with the Y since 2008. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. After several years though working in the sales/marketing industry I decided to pursue my true passion- health and fitness. I am nationally certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Through my own lifetime commitment to a healthy lifestyle, I am dedicated to helping people reach their fitness goals. I went into this field because I am passionate about changing people’s lives. I am grateful for my wide range of fitness experience which I can use to help build highly customized programs based on my client’s goals. I enjoy working with a variety of clients from young to old. From athletes to cancer survivors, I am committed to helping all feel their best!! Hobbies include running, skiing, golf and strength training.

I give full credit to my personal trainer for the quick recovery from my surgery for a torn meniscus in my right knee. It was because of their constant insistence for me to keep up my training sessions, even though I was in pain, previous to surgery, that I believe my recovery was much quicker. They even guided me through exercises in the warm water pool three times when I thought it would be too much for me to work out in the fitness area. At that time I was walking slowly and painfully with a cane. Within ten days after surgery I was able to do most of the exercises prescribed thoroughly and completely, even flexing my knee clear back under the chair. Thank you!
