When I began personal training, it was the best move in my career. I started personal training on a part-time basis and soon after found that the best part of my day was when I had the opportunity to meet with my clients and help them to work toward their goals; whether it’s to lose weight, gain strength, train for a triathlon, marathon, 5k, or any other type of event. I am blessed to be able to say that I truly love my job!
“I can't say enough positive things about Angie. She has truly found what she is good at! In the beginning, she listened to what I wanted what my ultimate goals were and provided a plan that far exceeded my expectations (performance and strength wise). I just wanted to be more comfortable in the water and with her plan; I shaved 11 minutes off my sprint tri time from last year! She currently created a plan to assist me in getting ready to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro. She understands my level of performance and is in-tune with my abilities. She was realistic in the plan she created for me. And on top of that, it's not your standard weight-room boring workouts. The strength training regimen she has me on is awesome! I love to do these workouts! Way to go Angie! I owe so much to her and in how she helped me with my personal health. Thank you!”

I want to be able to help others achieve their goals. I work with a variety of people helping them achieve goals from finishing/competing in an event to weight management. Training at the Y is a great experience. You can walk into the fitness center knowing what you have to accomplish with that workout. No more useless workouts. Whether you want to train for a marathon or lose 10 lbs. training at the Y, I will get you there.
I have a client who came to me one day and said “I want to do a chin-up.” I said okay, it will change your current program a little, but I think you can do it. I changed her program to meet the strength needs she would need to do a chin-up. She started from the bottom doing a high assisted chin-up and every week we would decrease the amount of assist needed. She was still being assisted a little and I said “try one, with no assist.” She thought she couldn’t do it, I thought she could. She did. In 2 months she was able to do one chin-up in six months she was able to do six.

Being involved in sports all my life, I know the determination, discipline and commitment it takes to achieve goals. I take a down to earth, dynamic approach during my training sessions, focusing on sound technique and keeping the workouts fun and upbeat. I work with many different clients from college athletes to senior citizens and everyone in-between. In my free time, I am an amateur power lifter and compete about 3 – 4 times a year.
"Kyle makes you work hard and feel strong. He does this without ever lecturing or preaching and yet also avoids indulging clients with meaningless cheerleading. This means he tells you when you have done a great job when you really have done a great job. Kyle is supportive, challenging, fun to work with and achieves this without intimidation or judgment."
