Y CAP

The Collegiate Achievers Program (Y CAP) is a four year program, created by and for first-generation college students at the University of Minnesota.  Each week, we meet at the UY and challenge one another to learn the best practices of college student success.  We have honest discussion regarding the challenges of college life, brainstorm ways to challenge the hurdles and work through the hard times together. Y CAP members also receive book stipends, summer employment through the Y and access to other UY opportunities.
