The Y strives to help all ages learn how to swim, so they can stay safe around water and learn the skills needed to make swimming a lifelong pursuit for healthy living.

Leisure pool and lap pool reservations are required for some locations. Reservations can be made online and if your location is not listed, reservations are not required.

Swim Lessons

Infants, kids, teens and adults can participate in Swim Lessons. Choose from day, evening and weekend swimming class schedules designed to fit your busy life.

Private Swim Lessons

Customized swim lessons are a great option for swimmers looking to catch up or get ahead. 

Swim Team

This competitive program offers children and teens ages five to 18 years an opportunity to work with trained coaches to improve swimming skills, endurance and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Certifications and training

Gain the skills and knowledge you need to provide care and act in an emergency through lifeguard training, CPR training, first aid training or babysitting safety training.

Swim tests, policies and facilities 

Learn about programs and guidelines to keep swimmers safe at Y pools, as well as what to do if you need to update your program registration.

Water Safety Program

A free program for kids ages five to 14 years to learn how to stay safe around water, including personal water safety techniques and what to do if they see someone who needs help.

Water Exercise classes

Group Water Exercise classes provide a low-impact workout in the pool. Free for YMCA members. Reservations required.

Specialty Classes

Water lovers of all ages can take skills to the next level with specialty classes like competitive swimming, triathlon training and more.
