Orville Lindquist
State Program Executive
Orville has been involved with Youth in Government programs since he was in the 8th grade! He has been at the State Office since 1990: first as Office Coordinator, then Program Director, and finally becoming Program Executive in 1999. He is responsible for overall leadership of YIG programs, volunteers and staff as well as managing community outreach and leading the annual Y Partners scholarship campaign.
Orville loves to read, listen to 80s music, and stopping to check out historical markers along the highway!

Jamal Riley
State Program Director
Jamal has been the Program Director since 2007, coming to the role after 2-1/2 years as a local Delegation Director at the Downtown Branch YMCA in Minneapolis. He is responsible for program management, working with adult and student leaders from existing Delegations and helping them to improve their work with students, staffs several committees of Youth in Government volunteers and evaluates current programs to drive future improvement.
Jamal is a husband and father to five beautiful daughters. Jamal enjoys sporting events, theater and volunteering with his church's youth ministry.
