REGISTRATION FORMS
Model United Nations Student Registration | UNA - 1
This is the packet used to register all delegates. It contains biographical and medical information in addition to release forms and the Code of Conduct. Registration forms must be submitted to the local delegation by the registration deadline in order for students to participate. This form packet must be signed by the parent/guardian in order for a student to take part in the program.
MODEL UN REGISTRATIONS ARE SUBMITTED BY COUNTRY GROUP and require UND-1 (grades 9-12) or UND-2 (grades 7-8) Assignment form as a cover sheet for the country group.
Country Availability Lists
These lists are used by students as they register for the program to determine which countries they are interested in representing at the Model United Nations. These lists are also helpful when assigning delegates to their organ membership (refer to UND-1 or UND-2).
The membership in the various organs changes each year so it is important to review this list before completing program registration (Anderson GA for grades 7-8 only).
Delegate Assignment Form and Instructions
Groups of delegates that wish to form a country group must submit this form with their completed UNA-1 registration packets. Delegates should list the country they wish to represent and assign delegates to sit in the appropriate organs/committees. Country group applications cannot be processed without this form. UND-1 forms for grades 9-12 and UND-2 forms for grades 7-8.
Model United Nations Advisor Registration
This is the packet used to register all adult advisors. It contains biographical and medical information in addition to release forms and the Code of Conduct for Adult Participants. Adult registration forms must be submitted to the State Office by the registration deadline. All Advisors must submit a Volunteer Background Check prior to attending the conference.
STATUS REPORT | POSITION PAPER
Students complete this form as a group and are required to list specific facts about their adopted countries. The form lists multiple questions that require detailed answers by the delegates. This form must be typed or neatly printed and turned in to the State Office on the first day of the conference at the hotel during check in.
Delegates assigned to General Assembly committees and ECOSOC must complete one Position Paper for each topic the committee or ECOSOC is scheduled to discuss (refer to UND-1). The Position Paper should state, in the adopted nation's point of view, how the delegate views the issues in question. The paper should be single-spaced on the Position Paper form and take up most of the front of the form.
Position Papers must be typed and turned in to the State Office on the first day of the conference at the hotel during check in.
